Working in collaboration with the Maumee Watershed Conservancy District and a wide range of resources within Stantec, Adam served as the Project Director for the creation of a suite of improvement projects developed to reduce the risk of flooding on the Blanchard River and its tributaries in and around the City of Findlay in Hancock County, Ohio. The full conceptual design presented to the local community is currently estimated at approximately $160MM and currently in process for refinement of the conceptual improvements upstream of the City. The detailed design of the first phase of Hydraulic Improvements along the Blanchard River includes the removal of four (4) in-line structures, creation of a floodplain bench area, removal and replacement of existing utilities within the benched area and related restoration. The detailed design involved coordination of multiple permitting agencies, the local City and County https://www.hoffcsllc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Blog13-1.jpgistrations and stakeholder organizations.
