Toledo Waterways Initiative (TWI)

As a member of the Toledo Waterways Team, Adam was responsible for oversight of the tasks related to the completion of four (4) SSES Investigations in the Ash Street, Highland, Williams-Knapp and Woodsdale Areas. The projects involved field work ranging from manhole inventories, CCTV and smoke and dye testing, as well as SWMM modeling, cost-effective analyses and development of final recommendations for capital improvements and funding. Final reports were completed in the Spring of 2009.

Long Term Control Plan Implementation

NAPOLEON, OH

Adam served as the project manager overseeing the development of and subsequent negotiations for the Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) for the City of Napoleon for the past 17 years. The original 3-year endeavor for developing the original LTCP included extensive sampling and monitoring of existing CSO’s and SSO’s, development and calibration of a SWMM model of the collection system, consolidation of available data, financial analysis and development of a 20-year program for the elimination of all SSO’s and reduction of CSO’s. The LTCP was originally submitted to the OEPA in December 2004 and was formally accepted by the Agency in March 2006 and represents an anticipated $40MM of capital investment by the City. Since that time, the project team have completed multiple major projects directly identified within the LTCP and continued to provide updates and assistance to the City https://www.hoffcsllc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Blog13-1.jpgistration and staff to adjust and modify the plan to meet the ever-evolving collection system and applicable regulations. Most recently, Adam and Stantec staff are providing assistance and recommendations to the City in an effort to re-negotiate the terms and schedule of the LTCP implementation with the Ohio EPA. The updated Wet Weather Plan was submitted to the OEPA in July 2017 and is currently under consideration for the modification of the compliance schedule.

Plan of Operation for Henry CO. Regional Water & Sewer

HENRY COUNTY, OH

PROJECT MANAGER

Developed the Plan of Operation for the establishment of a regional water and sewer district within Henry County. The plan development included the evaluation of current and anticipated land uses, examination of alternatives for water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and sewer collection and the development of cost estimates and financing alternatives for each potential project.

Final Findings & Orders Negotiations

Adam assisted the Henry County Commissioners, Prosecutor and Planner in the successful negotiation of final Findings and Orders for the unincorporated area of Okolona for the installation of new sanitary sewers.
